.The Asus Eee PC 1018P is Asus' new 10.1 inch netbook top model, which particularly convinces with its new case and revised design. Naturally, it has its shortcoming, which we almost always discover. The weak performance of Intel's Atom N455 with a DDR3 RAM isn't a surprise and we are waiting for the dual core performance of Intel's Atom N550.

As far as design and ergonomics go, the Lenovo ThinkPad X100e has the best keyboard and trackpad I’ve used on an 11.6 incher, and on top of that it’s matte all over including the display. Not to mention being very quiet. Doesn’t get any better than that. Performance, on the other hand, while good running at full performance, dips to netbook level speeds when running on battery mode. Battery life ranges from 3 - 4 hours on most occasions.
Best Netbooks - Dell Mini 10

It has the same limitations in processing power and functionality as other netbooks, but it’s perfect for basic tasks. You’re not going to be doing any video editing, heavy Photoshop creating, or intense gaming, but the 10v will easily handle a few YouTube videos, Hulu, and your social networking. My parents were so impressed with my Mini 10v that they purchased one a week later without the 15% coupon. A netbook such as this meets all of their computer needs and doesn’t put a dent in the wallet. Their 3-cell version was around $259.
Best Netbooks - Acer Aspire One

The Acer Aspire One is a 8.9" netbook with a starting price that is aimed to undercut nearly all the current market competitors. The base Aspire One, which includes an 8GB SSD and Linux starts at $329, which is far under anything else that has the Intel Atom processor. The big question running through everyone's minds is if this model is built like a budget computer, or if it has what it takes to go up against some models that sell for nearly double the retail price. In this review we cover all aspects of the Acer Aspire One, and let you know if this is a netbook you should consider purchasing.
